Good Offices Person
The Good Offices persons for the chapter serve as a 'minister to minister,' aiding colleagues who have personal or professional problems and, when appropriate, acting as a mediator or advocate for colleagues who ask for their help.
The Good Offices persons also remind colleagues of the meaning of the UUMA Code of Professional Practice and will counsel with those who others say are behaving in ways that are in violation of the Code.
In whatever they do the Good Offices persons will bear in mind the well-being of both the colleagues who ask for their help and the ministry itself. (pnwd)
